Introduction

My primary goal is to help you turn life’s challenges into opportunities for personal growth and well-being. Whether you’re navigating relationship dynamics, workplace stress, career transitions, or family concerns, I offer steadfast guidance tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll explore your goals and work toward positive change and greater fulfillment.

Practice Areas

With over 15 years of experience, I have gained familiarity with a wide range of personal challenges. I draw from evidence-based therapeutic approaches, research findings, and other resources to support personal growth and development.

Individual Therapy

  • Work Stress: Coping with professional pressures or social isolation from remote work
  • Emotional Challenges: Addressing anxiety, worry, irritability, or mild depression
  • Relationship Concerns: Improving relationship dynamics, navigating dating challenges, or managing family dynamics
  • Personal Growth: Enhancing self-awareness and fostering meaningful self-improvement

Couples Counseling

The couples I work with often feel positive about their relationship but are looking to improve communication, navigate conflict more effectively, and deepen their connection.

  • Communication: Enhancing communication and resolving recurring conflicts
  • Shared Goals: Balancing careers, parenting roles, and personal interests
  • Exploration: Discussing financial decisions, cultural or religious differences, or quality time together
  • Connection: Preparing for marriage or strengthening your partnership through meaningful conversations

Executive Coaching

Many of the professionals I work with value having a space to discuss their professional goals, career aspirations, and strategies for maintaining balance in their personal relationships and self-care.

  • Career Transitions: Exploring new paths that feel fulfilling and meaningful
  • Stress Management: Improving self-care while balancing demanding careers
  • Work-Life Balance: Aligning personal life with professional responsibilities
  • Skill Development: Refining specific talents to support career growth

My Clients

The individuals and couples I work with are often high-functioning professionals navigating personal or professional challenges. Many are balancing demanding careers, managing relationships, or seeking greater clarity and purpose in their lives.

My clients value a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to therapy and coaching. They often come to me looking for support in areas such as managing stress, improving relationships, or finding a greater sense of fulfillment and balance.

While this reflects the focus of my practice, I welcome anyone who feels my approach aligns with their goals and needs. I am deeply committed to fostering personal growth, strengthening meaningful relationships, and helping individuals and couples create the tools and clarity to thrive.

If this resonates with you, I encourage you to reach out for a 15-minute consultation.

Professional Background

With a background in both business and psychology, I bring a broad perspective to my work. My academic journey began with a degree in philosophy from Colorado College and an MBA from the University of Colorado, which led to a career in financial services. As my interest in personal growth and development deepened, I pursued a master’s degree in psychology from Boston University and a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver.

In 2009, I founded Mile High Psychology with the goal of helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges and build strategies that support lasting well-being. It is a privilege to work alongside people who are committed to personal growth and meaningful change. Their journeys continue to inspire and energize me every day.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, tennis, and yoga to stay active. I love exploring new places and reading books that broaden my perspective. Spending quality time with family and friends is essential, bringing both balance and joy to my life.
