Is Mile High Psychology accepting new clients?
Yes – We are currently accepting new clients.
How do I get started as a new client?
To get started as a new client or if you’ve been referred to our practice, simply schedule a complimentary 15-minute telephone consultation with either Dr. Rob or Laura Leach, depending on the services you are seeking. During this consultation, we will discuss your needs and answer any questions you have. If it seems that we can be of assistance, we will work together to schedule an initial appointment.
Does Mile High Psychology provide medication management?
No – We do not prescribe medication or offer medication management.
Does Mile High Psychology offer services to children and adolescents?
Mile High Psychology primarily focuses on providing services for adults. Dr. Rob Leach specializes in individual therapy, couples counseling, and executive coaching for adults (ages 25 and older). Dr. Laura Leach offers comprehensive assessments for both adults and adolescents (ages 16 and older).
Does Mile High Psychology accept Medicare or Medicaid?
No – Mile High Psychology has opted out of Medicare and, therefore, sees Medicare recipients on a self-pay basis. Mile High Psychology is not a Medicaid provider and is unable to offer services to Medicaid recipients.
Does Mile High Psychology accept health insurance?
Mile High Psychology operates primarily as a self-pay practice, and clients pay directly for services. However, Dr. Rob Leach accepts Aetna for individual therapy.
Does Mile High Psychology offer in-person and online appointments?
Mile High Psychology provides flexible options to meet your needs. Dr. Rob Leach offers both in-person and online appointments for individual therapy, couples counseling, and executive coaching. Our office locations are in Denver (LoDo) and downtown Colorado Springs. Additionally, Dr. Leach offers tele-therapy services in most states (see map) and tele-coaching nationwide. Please note that while all mental health assessment services are provided in person at our office locations, forensic psychology services can be conducted either at our office or at an approved offsite facility.
How do I submit payment ?

If you have access to our client portal, you can submit payment 24/7 and keep a credit card on file for future transactions.

Pay by phone using a credit card
If you don’t have access to the client portal and would like to make a credit card payment, we can assist you in processing your credit card payment. Please contact your therapist at 303-473-0707 for further assistance.

Does Mile High Psychology have a cancellation or no-show policy?
Yes, there is a cancellation and no-show policy in place. Cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment or failure to show up for your appointment without notice (“no-show”) are subject to a fee. You will be charged for each occurrence. More information about our cancellation and no-show policy can be found in your Service Agreement. If you have any questions, please contact your therapist directly.
Does Mile High Psychology provide estimates, and what is a “Good Faith Estimate”?
Yes – Mile High Psychology is happy to provide estimates for all his services upon request and as required by law. A “Good Faith Estimate” is a written explanation of the expected cost of your medical care. It is required by law for healthcare providers to provide this estimate to patients without insurance or who are not using insurance. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for non-emergency items or services. It should be given to you at least 1 business day before your scheduled appointment. You can also request an estimate from any healthcare provider before scheduling. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than the estimate, you can dispute it. Save a copy or take a picture of your Good Faith Estimate for reference. Learn more about Good Faith Estimates.
