Good Faith Estimate: What is this and why does it matter?
A “Good Faith Estimate” is a written explanation of the expected cost of your medical care. It is required by law for healthcare providers to provide this estimate to patients without insurance or who are not using insurance. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for non-emergency items or services. It should be given to you at least 1 business day before your scheduled appointment. You can also request an estimate from any healthcare provider before scheduling. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than the estimate, you can dispute it. Save a copy or take a picture of your Good Faith Estimate for reference. Learn more about Good Faith Estimates.
Mile High Psychology is happy to provide estimates for all services upon request and as required by law.
