Introduction
I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples overcome current challenges while learning skills and tools that can foster well-being for years to come. Whether you’re coping with relationship struggles, job stress, career shifts, or family issues, I offer steadfast and professional guidance. I work with both individuals and couples, aiming to foster meaningful growth and positive change.
Practice Areas
- Individual Therapy: Most of my therapy clients are high-functioning professionals who are experiencing heightened anxiety, irritability, or situational stress. By blending evidence-based techniques with extensive experience, I help restore well-being and confidence.
- Couples Counseling: Many couples seek my services to improve communication and gain skills and tools to enhance their relationships. I facilitate conversations that foster deeper understanding and strengthen connections.
- Executive Coaching: I am passionate about helping hard-working professionals navigate workplace challenges and develop career paths that align with their values and preferences. As both a psychologist and executive coach, I draw from an extensive toolbox and focus on helping my clients identify and achieve meaningful goals.
Professional Background
With a background in both business and psychology, I bring a multi-faceted perspective to my practice. I earned a philosophy degree from Colorado College and an MBA from the University of Colorado. My professional career began in the financial services industry and shifted as my passion for personal growth and development grew. I pursued a master’s degree in psychology from Boston University, setting the stage for my doctoral work in clinical psychology at the University of Denver. In 2009, I founded Mile High Psychology with a mission to empower individuals and couples with strategies and skills that enhance their happiness and well-being for years to come.
Personal Interests
I thrive on physical activity and intellectual engagement. I enjoy mountain sports and immersing myself in books that broaden my perspective. Quality time with my wife and daughter, discovering new places, and savoring moments with friends are central to my life.
