Do you accept Aetna, Anthem, or Blue Cross Blue Shield for individual therapy services?
Yes. Dr. Rob Leach accepts insurance for psychotherapy and is a participating provider (e.g., "in-network") with the following health insurance companies:
- Aetna
- Anthem
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Cigna (Dr. Leach will be going out of network with Cigna on 01/31/2020)
After completing the telephone consultation and prior to your first office visit, we will ask you to complete our intake paperwork. If you are planning to use health insurance, please provide your health insurance information when you complete the intake paperwork. After we receive this information from you, our billing specialist with verify your benefits and provide you with an estimate of your payment responsibility.
Can I meet with Dr. Leach for individual therapy on an "out-of-network" basis?
Yes. If Dr. Leach is "out of network" with your health plan, you are responsible for the full payment of each visit. Some health plans offer out-of-network benefits. Please contact your health insurance carrier to inquire about any out-of-network benefits. At your request, Dr. Leach can provide insurance-ready visit statements for you to submit to your health plan.
Do you accept health insurance for assessment services (psychological or neuropsychological testing)?
No. Dr. Laura Leach provides mental health assessment services on a fee-for-service basis. She is not contracted with any health insurance companies.
Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?
No. We have opted out of Medicare and see Medicare recipients on a fee-for-service basis. We are not Medicaid providers and are not able to offer services to Medicaid recipients.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We are accepting new clients at this time.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. We do not prescribe medication or provide medication management.
Do you work with children?
No. Individual therapy and couples counseling are available for ages 20 and older. Neuropsychological and psychological testing is available for ages 18 and older.
What are your rates?
Individual Therapy: The fee for individual therapy is $120 per 45-minute session. What you owe depends on whether your visits are covered by your health insurance plan. If they are, your payment responsibility is determined by your health plan (usually a co-pay or reduced rate).
Couples Counseling: The fee for couples counseling is $160 per hour. Session lengths vary. 60-minute sessions tend to work well for most couples.
Mental Health Evaluations: The rate for assessment services is $150.00 per hour. The time required to complete psychological and neuropsychological evaluations varies depending on the scope of the assessment and the complexity of the case. The following is provided as a general guideline:
- Psychological evaluations: $1,500-$1,800 (10-12 hours)
- Neuropsychological evaluations: $1,800-$2,400 (12-16 hours)
All services are billed based on actual time. Estimates for mental health evaluations are available by request. Rates are subject to change.
